How is my presentation structured?
For a 30-minute presentation (Session Keynote), please allocate 20 minutes for the talk and 10 minutes for discussion.
For a 15-minute presentation, please allocate 12 minutes for the talk and 3 minutes for discussion.
Do I need to send or upload my presentation in advance?
NEW!
All presenting authors received a personalized access link from us on September 17, allowing them to upload their presentation directly to the respective session folder in Dropbox. Alternatively, presentations can of course also be brought on-site on a standard storage device (as a PowerPoint or PDF file in 16:9 format on a USB stick) and submitted at the media check. Please ensure that the upload is completed no later than 30 minutes before the start of your session. The media check will be staffed throughout the entire conference.
Can I use my own laptop?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to use your own laptop. Suitable presentation equipment will be provided in the rooms. Your presentation will be launched from there and displayed on the screen. You can control your slides using a presenter. Please note that you need to submit your presentation at the scheduled media check-in time.
Which format should my presentation be in?
The recommended format for your presentation is 16:9. Please prepare your presentation as a PowerPoint or PDF file. Please prepare your talk in English.
Is there a layout template for the presentation?
You will find a “Slide master” button to the left. Here you can download the slide master and use it as a template for your presentation. However, this is not mandatory.
Where and when will my presentation take place?
You can find your assigned time slot and the room in which your session will take place in the program on the website: Click here for the program.
